Bill Walker’s painting for the cover of the Grateful Dead’s Anthem of the Sun (1968), which he painted on a canvas window shade from the house he was living in on Shrader Street in the Haight. Signed prints are available on anthemprints.com for $3,950 a pop, along with a free 33-page PDF about the work which is quite interesting and contains more math than you might expect.
