Clips from Nowsreal (1968), a kind of stream-of-consciousness newsreel about the San Francisco Diggers by Kelly Hart. Features Richard Brautigan in the mix and the scene around the Straight Theater, which was located where the Goodwill is now on Haight Street. Also features them throwing silver coins to people on Haight (a half-dollar coin then had about 85 cents of silver; today they go for around $11 and our money has no intrinsic value).
