Meher Baba comix from Seattle’s Helix newspaper, 1969 (artist unknown).
Baba was literally silent from 1925 until his death in 1969, though he kept hinting that he was going to break his silence and that when he finally spoke it would be a defining event in the spiritual evolution of the world. He believed that each soul is God passing through imagination to realize his own divinity, and he coined the phrase “Don’t worry, be happy” before Bobby McFerrin vocalized it 😊
