Early-‘70s artifacts from the Brotherhood of the Spirit commune in Western Massachusetts, including the speaker cabinets used by their band Spirit in Flesh. They were the largest commune in the northeast and received a lot of media coverage. At one point they had four homesteads in four towns with about 75 acres.
