1971 ad from the Berkeley Organ for Sutter Cinema, the first (and only?) erotic movie theater to be owned and operated by a woman, Arlene Elster. She shut it down in the mid-70s because of a lack of quality films to show, then moved up to Sonoma County to run a wholesale plant nursery.
Bolerium Books has a 1972 copy of The Night Times with an interview with Arlene for sale.
