1967 promo poster by Loren Rehbock for legendary Haight-Ashbury boutique Mnasidika, at 1510 Haight near Ashbury. Mnasidika was run by Peggy Caserta, who passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 84. The store was named after a character in a lesbian poetry collection from 1894, The Songs of Bilitis. She paid $87.50/mo in rent and served clients like Jimi Hendrix, Kris Kristofferson, Sly Stone and her lover Janis Joplin.
