Features many drawings by Alicia Bay Laurel of Living on the Earth fame. Alicia first landed on the Farm from California after receiving her first-ever fan letter from Raymond and then had Living on the Earth reviewed in The New York Times by him. She wrote, “My toes caressed the soil of Vermont. Everything here is very, very old. Sometimes you have to part the spirits like curtains as you pass, they crowd about so thickly.”
