Rock Island Line Organic Foods (I’ve seen it called Rock Island Line Organic Foods Trip, which I like better) was an early natural foods store in Sausalito. (“Rock Island Line” was the nickname of the old North Pacific Coast Railroad that once ran from Sausalito to Cazadero.) This logo rocking the windsor typeface is from an ad in the May ‘71 issue of The Organic Morning Glory Message, published in Haight-Ashbury 🌻
